The El-Nu Abenaki tribe bring the celebration of the first corn of the harvest with traditional blessings, songs, story and a shared meal to the Fort at No 4.

About the event
The Green Corn Celebration is a traditional Native American event that marks the beginning of the corn harvest. This is a time of renewal, purification, and thanks giving. It reinforces and solidifies the community's connection to the land, their ancestors and traditions. Chief Roger Longtoe will bless the harvest and the shared meal we will have.
